summer beauty find: oil-control setting spray

Urban Decay Oil Control De-Slick Setting SprayThe summer heat can exacerbate oily skin, leaving a shiny look on the face. I often get caught up in social situations and forget to blot some of that excess oil. I always discover the oiliness later in pictures – not attractive!

I recently discovered a great setting spray that controls the oil and prevents the shine from appearing. Urban Decay De-Slick Oil-Control Setting Spray is different than other make-up setting sprays because it is light-weight so it won’t feel heavy on the face. It is used during the application process to keep your make-up from smudging or fading, and uses a technology which lowers the make-up temperature so that it stays put without getting shiny. I absolutely love it! A great find for anyone who doesn’t want to deal with that excess shine.

After applying your sunscreen and primer, hold the spray about 8 inches away from your face and apply 2-3 times in a T. This will help with the oil control. Then apply to your skin once again after your foundation to set the make-up in place. You’re good to go!

The Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Setting Spray is available at Sephora – $29 for 4 oz and $14 for 1 oz (travel size).
