my nostalgic concert playlist

nostalgic concert playlistI recently watched 2 bands that I almost forgot about – The Postal Service and Vampire Weekend. Both shows were absolutely amazing and reminded me of some of my favorite concert moments. I love concerts because aside from a great music, they also create memories with the people you watch the show with.

I’ve been listening to The Postal Service and Vampire Weekend non-stop since watching the shows, and thought it would be fun to put together a playlist that encompasses my favorite concert memories. From the most recent shows to taking my youngest sister to see David Gray and her screaming “This Year’s Love” at the top of her lungs and him actually coming back to play it for a double encore, dancing with my friends Jeff and Noa at MIKA’s theatrical high energy show, seeing Coldplay in their early days, and so much more- this is my playlist.

Vampire Weekend – White Sky (Outside Lands SF 2013)

Postal Service – Nothing Better (Greek Theater Berkeley 2013)

David Gray – This Year’s Love (Fillmore SF 2005)

MIKA – Relax, Take It Easy (Hollywood Palladium 2009)

Dave Matthews Band – Stay (Riverbend Cincinnati 2008)

M83 – Intro (Paleo Festival Switzerland 2012)

Julian Casablancas – 11th Dimension (Palace Theatre LA 2009)

Coldplay – Politik (Hollywood Bowl 2003)
